Trivia League Rules for The Beach House

🏆 League Overview:

● Location: The Beach House, Henderson, NV

● Registration Period: November 5th - November 26th

○ Register in person on any Tuesday in November or by DM on Instagram @Robotbraintrivia

● League Play Duration: December 3rd - February 25th

● Prizes:

○ 1st Place: $200 Cash

○ 2nd Place: $100 Cash

○ 3rd Place: $50 Cash

○ Additional prizes may be announced closer to the final event

● Winners Announced: March 4th, 2025

How It Works

● Points Awarded Weekly:

○ 5 points for participation (playing the full trivia game)

○ 15 points for 1st place

○ 12 points for 2nd place

○ 11 points for 3rd place

○ 10 points for 4th place

○ 9 points for 5th place

○ 8 points for 6th place

○ 7 points for 7th place

● Scores will be posted weekly at www.robotbrain.org.

Rules

1. Team Limitations: Teams may have up to 8 players during league play. 

2. Registration: Teams can register in person on any Tuesday in November or via DM on Instagram

@Robotbraintrivia.

3. Joining Mid-League: New teams may join within the first three weeks of league play. Weekly prizes

remain open to all players, whether in the league or not.

4. Qualification for Prizes: Only the top three teams with the highest total scores across the league will

receive prizes.

5. Special Scoring Options:

○ Double-Down: Each team can "Double-Down" on their score for one trivia night. The

Double-Down must be declared before the quiz begins. If unused, it will automatically apply to

the final night of league play.

○ Lowest Score Scratch: At the end of the league, each team’s lowest weekly score will be

removed, providing some leeway for missed games or off-nights.

6. Cheating Policy: No cell phones, smart devices, or reference materials are allowed during trivia. Any

violation will result in immediate disqualification from that night's prizes.

7. Final Announcement: There will be no final playoff game. The top three teams with the highest

cumulative scores at the end of the league will be announced as winners on March 4th, 2025.

8. Disputes: Robot Brain Events has the final decision in any disputes.

9. Most Important Rule: Bring your game face and be ready for fun! 🎉
